Dag allemaal,

Enkele dagen geleden geprobeerd om dit op Reddit (/Ubuiqity) beantwoordt te krijgen, helaas zonder respons. Bij deze, na 10+ jaar passief meeluisteren/leren, een poging alhier :):

Could really use your support in figuring out how to reduce from 3xWAN (NSM2 / NSM5 / 5G) to 2xWAN (NSM2 primary with NSM5 in secondary port? / 5G) connections to my Edgerouter..

Currently have the following working configuration:
  • Edgerouter X: load balancing eth0 (NSM2), eth1 (NSM5) and eth2 (ZTE 5G outdoor)
  • Edgerouter locally creates a DHCP lan on eth3 for the rest my clients (192.168.1.1)
  • Nanostations connect to publicly available WiFi networks nearby, each operating as routers (NSM2: 192.168.1.2, NSM5: 192.168.1.3) towards the Edgerouter

I'm installing this setup in a vintage Airstream on a flagpost, and only have 2 external ethernet connections to enter, is there any way to eg. connect the NSM5 primary to the NSM2's secondary port, while still?:
  • Making use of the 3 WAN connections
  • Being able to access the NSM5's portal to eg. select a new SSID in a new spot

I managed to enable PoE passthrough on the NSM2, see that NSM5 still connects to the configured SSID, but neither of the former 2 requirements are met..

Groeten en alvast bedankt!
