Ik heb op mijn laptop een Intel/pro 2200 chip voor mijn draadloos internet maar ik krijg dat niet aan de praat onder Linux, ik heb al geprobeerd met die driver (http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net) die ze ervoor hebben gemaakt en dat wil nog niet werken, wie kan me helpen?

d'er zijn veel oplossing voor, maar ik denk dat ndiswrapper niet werkt met de centrino. (ik kan natuurlijk ook verkeerd zijn)
ik zou eerder eens kijken naar de madwifi drivers (die trouwens veel gemakkelijker te installeren zijn dan de ndiswrapper)

als het werkt met ndiswrapper is het eigenlijk vrij gemakkelijk. Je moet enkel de windows drivers bij de hand hebben...
Vergeet ook de wireless tools niet de downloaden!!!! (http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tou ... Tools.html)
1. ndiswrapper gunzippen en untarren
2. make install in de nieuwe ndiswrapper dir
3. ndiswrapper -l (om te kijken of er al iets geïnstalleerd is. Zo ja, effe deleten met ndiswrapper -e)
4. ndiswrapper -i <pad naar je windows drivers.inf> (enkel verwijzen naar de .inf file)
5. modprobe ndiswrapper
6. mbv iwconfig (in het wireless tools pakket) je essid WEP enz instellen.
voila... dit zou het moeten zijn...
Uiteraard kunnen er enige verschillen zijn, maar ik ben gewend om met mijn gentoo linux te werken... Misschien heeft suse een quasi kant-en-klare oplossing...

Die website had ik ook gevonden en toch werkt het niet dus als je weet hoe het moet dan mag je dat altijd eens uitleggen. Ik vind dat die dingen niet gebruiksvriendelijk zijn.
