DLM upgrade komt 15 dagen na helpdesk "ik zal aan Belgacom vragen om te kijken of uw lijn sneller kan", en 94 dagen na vdsl poortwissel (het uitblijven van DLM was de reden om de helpdesk in te schakelen). Volgens de uitleg van DLM: http://userbase.be/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37511 vermoed ik dat de helpdesk een TBF startte die na 10 dagen evalueren DLM actief zette, en dan na 2 DLM evaluatiecycles (0.5 + 2 dagen) de beslissing tot verhoging nam die dan ongeveer 3 dagen later inging.

Conclusie: misschien is het dus best om na een vdsl poortwissel zelf een automatische lijntest (TBF) te starten?

Gewoon postje om bij te houden wanneer DLM het profiel updatet naar 70/10, omdat ik vermoed dat deze forced reboot mogelijk DLM-related is:

20150116 -- DLM upgrade to 70/10Mbit (65.5/7.7Mbit real speeds) ScarletOne/BBOX2/no vectoring yet.

33 dagen na 14 december (start van DLM, denk ik) en ik denk dat er eerder deze week nog een forced reboot was (maar vergeten te registreren voor eigen stroomonderbreking gisteren).

Blijkbaar is onze ROP nu toch vectored maar vectoring zal waarschijnlijk nog niet opstaan want 14.4dB training margin is geen al te grote verandering: die hing meestal rond de 13.2dB en sprong occasioneel naar 15.3dB voor korte periodes. Proximus snelheidstest toont nog altijd 63/8 max (70Mbit). Niks gemerkt van de omschakeling naar een Broadcom kaart.

Met deze modem ga je niks merken van vectoring verder, hoger dan deze DLM kom je niet.

Deze zomer ga ik een ruil vragen van de verouderde/slow-as-hell V3b tv decoder, en dan meteen ook van de router. Hopelijk zijn ze bij Scarlet toch een beetje redelijk, anders zou het deze keer wel eens Orange kunnen worden.
