BBox2 low VSDL Profile 8d 14/1 Training 35db Att:9

For unknown reason moved from 38/8 to 14/1 speed
several days ago. Contacted Proximus many times but seems technical support does not know a lot about VSDL2.
Reinstall and clean cables and go from Training/Att 23/13 to 35/9. Seems signal noise rate is excellent but
14/1 is below minimum required (required minimum 2.8Mbps outgoing traffic).

Any reason why you are still using a B-box2

?
Do yourself a favour and go and get a B-box3

.
Your speed will increase to at least 70/20 as a start, with further increased to potentially 100/35

.

Alternatively, try to initiate a line test (TBF):

call 0800 22424 (from any Belgian fixed or mobile phone).
if requested, enetr your 9-digit customer number.
then enter the line number of your VDSL2 line (not necessarily the phone number of your fixed phone line).
disregard all further messages, but wait until the end of the announcements before hanging up.

After a few minutes, your line will be disconnected, and you will be allocated the proper line profile (depending distance).

Then DLM will monitoring the line, and eventually increase further…

In the (rare) event that you are not connected to a vectored ROP you still should sync with a 17a profile (in stead of 8d).
In that case, your base speed (zone 1) should be 30/10 (starting), with potential increases up tot 70/10
