I have here a Belkin F5D7632 (ADSL Modem with Wireless G Router), and I need help setting it up with my SKYNET connection.
I already have an existing connection with a Thomson SpeedTouch 510i as my modem, and Linksys BEFW11S4 acting as my Wireless Gateway.
The Belkin has a built-in modem, but it doesn't connect to my SKYNET connection for some reason, even after I put in all the details.
Ik kan ook een beetje nederlands verstaan, als het nodig is.

Need help seting up a Belkin F5D7632 (ADSL Modem+WiFiRouter)
If you are using ADSL, check whether you can find these settings in your belkin device, and check their values:
Protocol : PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet)
VPI : 8
VCI : 35
Modulation : Auto-Sense (G.DMT, T1.413)
Isolation : LLC
QoS Class : UBR
(I copy/pasted this from a thread in the dommel forum, but these values should apply to Belgacom ADSL as well)

I just checked all of the settings, and VPI, VCI and Isolation was available, but I couldn't find any settings for but I couldn't find anything for Modulation and QoS Class.
When I tried using the pre-configured settings for Belgacom/SKYNET that are available in the router, it says the connection is PPPoA.
Anyways, still, I don't have a connection, and I even tried entering the settings after reseting the router.

I think you have an ISDN-line. Is that correct? Because there's an i behind the name of your modem.nfsclambo schreef:I have here a Belkin F5D7632 (ADSL Modem with Wireless G Router), and I need help setting it up with my SKYNET connection.

That Belkin Modem/Router is probably made for an analog PSTN line so it won't work on an ISDN-line.

Maybe obvious, but you cannot use the Thomson Speedtouch 510i and the Belkin simultaneouslynfsclambo schreef: I already have an existing connection with a Thomson SpeedTouch 510i as my modem, and Linksys BEFW11S4 acting as my Wireless Gateway.

And why would you want to use the Belkin if you have a working DSL connection with the SpeedTouch, and a working WLAN with the Linksys ?
If your purpose was to get more PC's connected to your network, then I would suggest to use the Belkin as a switch (disable DHCP en connecting 1 LAN port to your Speedtouch) ...
