Fiber XS: Connection reset by EDPnet every 24 hours?
Geplaatst: 24 jan 2025, 11:25
Hi,
since Tuesday (21th Jan.) I have the impression that my internet connection is reset by EDPNet every 24 hours. The first time it happened it was exactly midnight (when Tuesday started) and I though it was my local DNS (I use pihole in a raspberry pi) but it wasn't. After rebooting the router, (I have OpenWrt in another raspberry pi) internet worked again for (exactly) 24 hours before loosing again the connection. On Wednesday and Thrusday I saw the same pattern of 24 hours before loosing the connection.
Now I'm resetting myself the internet connection from OpenWrt every 24 hours (at 4:10 in the morning) at seems to work.
I really liked that I could have an IP number for 3-4 months (i use my local pihole as DNS for my iPhone through Wireguard when on the go). Now, the IP number of my Wireguard endpoint changes every 24 hours (I have duckdns as dyndns though), so I have to reset the Wireguard VPN on my iPhone.
Am I the only one with this problem?
Cheers
