I have a fritz box 7390 , new firmware , if I want to increase the stability ,or inp , (e.g) , rthe Belgacom line is out (the stabililty is also awful) Do you have such problems.

Back to old firmware everything ok !

I don't have stability issues (I do see some Errors (ES)at the "DSL Telephone switch" which I've never seen before) with the new firmware BUT since I applied it, a few hours later I was forced back to my provisiong profile of 30/6 instead of 70/6... It is not sure that the firmware upgrade has something to do with it, but in the three years I am connected to VDSL2, I was never set on a lower profile....

For my own part the profile in snr was doing "yoyo" . In order to stabilise I did what I always did and then no connxion at all . As a result two interventions of a technician and two ports out , so I go back to the old firmware and no problem anymore

So I think there is a problem !

If you really want some help from the Forum community, you should give a few more details of your xDSL subscription, e.g.

• - are you ADSL2+ or VDSL2 ?
  - what is your modem sync speed?
  - line values (attenuation, snr)?
  - last but not least: how does your internal wiring look like (starting from the Belgacom wallplate, splitter/filter, etc ..)

I don't believe your problems are related to the fritzBox firmware!

PS no problem (physical problem on my line) but a "perturbating neighbour" normally SNR equal to to 20 dB but I have this problem.
All the data are very good except this

Here also with the new firmware two VDSL ports out of service by playing with the increase the stability function. Now I'm using my b-box2 in bridge mode and all works smoothly.
