onderwerp: high latency and low speeds
due to a capacity issue in the belgacom national ethernet backbone (ethane), customers in antwerp, limburg and part of vlaams-brabant will experience high latency and low speeds througout the weekend.
we have warned belgacom numerous times over the past week that this would happen but they have failed to implement a solution in due time. we sincerely apologise for the inconveniences caused and will continue to urge belgacom to implement a capacity upgrade during the course of next week. dommel is and will remain the reference for sorrow-free downloading without having to be bothered by a pre-historic download limit and we will do whatever is necessary to confirm that unique position.

Weet alleen dat mn lampje van adsl signiaal weg was/knipperde (dan zit er geen signiaal op de lijn).
Vandaag router vervangen voor een alix 2d13 (iets zuiniger, 3.1-3.3W idle), die modem (bbox2) is toch wel een irritant geval, zowel pfsense als de bbox2 moeten rebooten om PPPOE weer aan de gang te krijgen).
