hmm afgelopen nacht heb ik de indruk dat er weer disconnects waren. yep rond 1:2x

zijn er werken aan de gang ? want eergisteren was het ook rond die tijd.

Regio 089 geen probs dus...
(tussen 02:00 en 08:00 is gewoon veel verkeer, waardoor wan quality beke inzakt en ping stijgt, nie op lette :P )


Dus het gaan iig geen algemene werken bij edpnet zijn, en ik zie ook nie direct iets op hun storingpagina staan over aangekondigde werken ofzo ...

Misschien werken bij bgc of scarlet in jouw regio, dat kan, maar het zou uitzonderlijk zijn dat ze dat snachts doen, meestal is da gewoon overdag en ist "spijtig maar helaas" als uw internet eruit ligt.

Mag ik vragen waarop je je stelling/aanname baseert dat je internet problemen geeft ? Want het evengoed een lokaal (=bij jouw thuis) probleem zijn natuurlijk he.
(alarmcentrale die linetest doet, wasmachine of verwarming die aanspring ? router die gekke dingen doet ? ... )
Misschien eens navragen bij andere mensen in jouw regio (als je iemand kent) of zij dat ook merken ?

er zit niks tussen en het is om een vast tijdstip, .. het is het scarlet netwerk en vroeger was dit nooit, ..

als het daadwerkelijk om een storing binnen huis gaat, zou ik op andere tijdstippen ook problemen moeten ondervinden wat niet zo is, .. het lijkt me sterk dat mijn apparatuur zegt om 1:20 tiens .. het is 1uur 20 we gaan eens moeilijk doen ..

dat van die werken was gewoon een veronderstelling omdat het al 2 dagen rond hetzelfde uur is. Wasmachine die aanspring lol bij mij staat er niks op timers .. of weet ik veel wat en alles draait hier de ganse dag door. gezin met 5 kinderen geloof mij dat die wasmachine staat niet stil nee rond dat tijdstip zou men juist kunnen zeggen dat er praktisch niks actief is. :p dan slaapt meestal iedereen.

zeg nooit "nooit" he, en "in het verleden behaalde resultaten zijn geen garantie voor de toekomst".

Heb je een alarm of een fax op de lijn van je internet hangen ? ergens anders iets van geprogrammeerde apparaten ? een melding van ufo's in de buurt ?
(ja dat laatste is flauw, mr de rest meen ik )

Maar nogmaals, waarop baseer je het ? torrents die uitvallen ? iets anders ? logs van modem/router ?
Want het kan zijn dat het een remote probleem is met de site of torrenttracker in kwestie ofzo he ?

Als je zeker bent dat het aan edpnet ligt, kan je altijd een ticket aanmaken met de nodige logs/bewijzen erbij, en dan gaan ze dat wel nakijken hoor , no worries :)

nee geen ufo's .. geen fax alarm whatever.. waarop ik me baseer disconnects .. alles disconnecteer irc enz als en zeker geen torrents die rommel komt er bij mij niet in, en ik heb geen internet meer ..

ik ben eens aan het rondkijken op mijn cisco router ik zie misschien enkele aanwijzingen maar ik weet niet of het aantoont wat ik beweer..

wat ik wel vreemd vind is dat ik die van gisteren avond niet terug vind, .. althans die van rond 1:20 niet .. en over het atm is er helemaal geen history dus het heeft niks met lijnwaardes te maken, neem ik aan..

Ik heb 1 disconnect gehad deze nacht (zone 016, centrale haasrode).
Wat jij laat zien lijkt me wel heel erg op wat ik enkele weken geleden had en waar ik nu soms nog naweeën van zie.
Om de 1 a 2 minuten disconnects. Het rare is dat het bij mij ook wel lijkt op problemen met de telefoons/splitters. Langs de andere kant, zelfs met de telefoons uitgetrokken op die splitter zijn er soms nog disconnects waar ik vroeger makkelijk 30+ dagen geconnecteerd was.

Dus met EDPnet zelf zal het ook wel iets te maken hebben veronderstel ik (of hun leveranciers).
Ik hoop voor jouw dat je er niet zo lang last van hebt als ik had.

dat is het hem juist als het de splitter zou zijn dan zou het dsl signaal ook wegvallen en het is enkel de dialer bij mij .. dus ik denk dat het niks met de splitter te maken heeft anders zou ik ook andere zaken down en up zien gaan.. en het is enkel Virtual2 dat neer gaat, wat dus de dialer is

Inderdaad, als het DSL signaal uit gaat is het meestal van storing/ruis op de fysieke lijn en kan soms aan de splitter liggen/vocht/kortsluiting/afstand centrale/...

Als PPP uitgaat zal dit meer te maken hebben met een netwerk- of aparaatstoring van de DSLAM(module in centrale) naar de authentication server van EDPnet toe.

Was dit bij de uitvallen van het scarlet datacenter ook niet het geval ?

Sinds 20u30 gisteren is er geen Rx meer in zone 089. Er staan geen bekende storingen op de edpnet website. Nog iemand ?

Ondertussen al bekend bij edpnet:

Er zijn momenteel problemen in de regio Limburg. Het is mogelijk dat u daardoor niet meer op het internet kan.

Alleen nog upstream atm verkeer, geen downstream cells meer ...

Toch bijna een volledige 24u downtime in wat blijkt een groot deel van Limburg, dat is toch niet niks. Was alleen EDPnet getroffen of iedereen die diezelfde lijnen huurt ?

Dat zijn pfsense graphs. Die nemen de gateway ingesteld voor die specifieke interface om latency te checken.

Ik weet niet direct hoe groot de impact was, mr het was iig een algemener probleem dan 1 of 2 gemeentes.

en in het geval van ppoe (men edpnet) of dhcp (men telenet) nemen ze automatisch de gateway die hoort bij het ip dat je krijgt toegewezen.
dus je hebt weliswaar een uptime indicatie van je isp netwerk, maar als er zich verderop (bvb bij hun peerings ed.) een probleem voordoet, ga je dat niet zien terugkomen.

Pfsense is op zich wel leuk, alleen spijtig da het nie al te betrouwbaar is ...

ik begrijp wat het programma is enkel vroeg ik me af wat het ping'ed, .. het ping iets en neemt average, .. op die manier kan het grafieken maken, .. kan je gewoon zelf met rrdtool, het punt is wat neem je als referentie je isp zijn dns servers ...

De internet router(gateway) van je ISP waarop je lijn is 'aangesloten' bij hun.
Stel je hebt het IP adres 94.102.113.83, dan is die gateway/router meestal 94.102.113.1

Beter zou zijn dit + nog een extra ping naar 1 of meerdere internet sites

Vreemd vroeger haalde ik 600-700kb/s van hun newsservers en nu maar 300kb/s met moeite, ..

http://www.binpaste.com/f.php?id=6tbaf en het ligt niet aan het dsl signaal, .. volgens deze statistieken zou ik nog hogere snelheden kunnen halen zelfs tot 8mbit en bijna 1mbit upload

EDPnet Scarlet en Dommel hebben denk ik allemaal last van de verzadiging van het netwerk waar Belgacom hen op geplaatst heeft. Ben zo goed als zeker dat naast issues met interconnects, er ook issues met transit en dergelijke zijn voor diegenen die BICS gebruiken.

mijn cityconnect in (hoboken antwerpen) is sinds zaterdag 05/12/2009 vanaf 05 smorgens onstabiel...
ik syncroniseer nog maar met momenten kan ik gewoon niets surfen...
wie heeft dit nog?

Dit is een EDPnet topic. Ik heb al in diverse Dommel topics gezegd dat dit geen alleenstaand probleem is, en aan Belgacom ligt. Misschien kun je eerst een poging doen om ALLE reacties te lezen in die topics?
