hi, the big white box you mean is not the central, its only a connector between your house and the central. i have the same situation: my distance to the "white box" is only 300m, but to the central it's 2,7km

sometimes i wonder ... do u only use your dsl connection to do speedtests and complain here if they arent perfect ? because you wont notice those small speed variances in surfing or downloading ... my dear, i think is my decision to post some troubles in this forum. i don't need any unprofessional ...

only for information: i can send mails over my private smtp server. at skynet i can't use my private smtp, i had to use relay.skynet.be. at edpnet i can choose (between relay.edpnet.be and my private smtp)

today edpnet has upgraded my adsl max from 3,3 to 4mbit (distance to central 3,2km - caused by this, i can't use 6mbit) and these are my new test-figures:

i ordered adsl max6 dyn on 24.01 and it's active since yesterday, 02.02! before edpnet i had belgacom skynet...

great job EDPnet! all works perfect! i haven't any offtime caused by isp-chaning (only 5 minutes)!!!

hanks for your informations, that was a big help for me. i have now ordered an edpnet subscription it will be active on 4. january (little delay caused by christmas...). but the service is realy great. they know absolutly what the speaking about...
